About
Hi! I'm Eva, and welcome to Expert Philanthropy.
For over 15 years, I've worked with generous high-net-worth individuals and families in the San Francisco Bay Area, Silicon Valley, and Southern California. Over that time, I learned that philanthropists enjoy making a difference through charitable giving, but the process can feel overwhelming.
With my extensive experience as a fundraiser in the non-profit industry, I know how impactful philanthropy can be. Whether it's supporting higher education, after-school programs, or humanitarian relief, the difference that people can make is incredible!
My goal is to ensure clients have a meaningful and rewarding experience supporting a cause, without feeling discouraged by the process. It is my hope that I can collaborate with client’s to help transform philanthropic visions into inspirational realities.
Right now, we are a team of one, with plans to expand soon!
And now, a little bit about me…
I grew up in Marin County, California in Corte Madera. After graduating Redwood High School, I moved to New York to attend Fordham University, and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications / Journalism. Later, I attended Metropolitan University of New York and earned a Master’s Degree in Public Administration. After a gap year abroad living in Spain and Ireland, I moved back to San Francisco and began my journey in fundraising. I started as a grant writer with The Salvation Army and was promoted to individual giving. Later, I joined the American Red Cross and then relocated to Los Angeles, where I have worked for UCLA, After-School All-Stars (a non-profit organization started by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger), and recently concluded my fundraising career with Save the Children.
I am thrilled to have fulfilled my five-year long dream of starting my own consultancy, and developing a method to help individuals and families with their charitable giving!
In my free time, I enjoy hiking throughout the many beautiful trails in Los Angeles, watching the latest and greatest films, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. I also enjoy volunteering as the chapter lead for the Fordham University Alumni Association in Los Angeles.
